Kejahmas was founded by a group of gym enthusiasts in Accra who were tired of paying three times the price for imported workout gear that still did not fit African body types well. We knew there had to be a better way.
We started small — a handful of compression tights and muscle tees designed and tested by real athletes at local gyms across Accra. The feedback was instant: <strong>the fit was right, the fabric performed, and the price was fair.</strong>
Today Kejahmas ships performance wear to customers across Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa. Every piece is engineered for high-intensity training, built to last, and designed to look as good outside the gym as inside it.
The idea
Three gym regulars in Accra get fed up with overpriced imports and sketch the first Kejahmas designs on a notepad after a Saturday morning workout.
First collection drops
Six products, one Instagram page, and word of mouth. The first 100 orders sell out in three weeks. Athletes start tagging their workouts with #Kejahmas.
Online store launches
We build a proper storefront with Mobile Money checkout, a full size guide, and same-week delivery in Accra. Orders double within two months.
Expanding across Africa
Shipping opens to Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa. The women's collection launches and immediately becomes the bestselling range.
5,000 orders and growing
We hit our 5,000th order milestone, launch the accessories line, and begin work on our first physical pop-up in Accra Mall.
